Saat Anda menyalakan lampu, cahaya biru akan menyala di dalam dan kemudian fosfor akan mengubah cahaya biru menjadi kuning. Namun jika fosfor tidak mencukupi, maka akan ada sisa cahaya biru, yang akan bercampur dengan cahaya kuning yang telah disatukan menjadi cahaya putih.
